Product Manager
In a nutshell
Lead the development and performance of a specific product area by shaping and executing its strategy and roadmap to deliver customer growth, commercial value and competitive differentiation.
Your daily tasks:
As a Product Manager you will take full ownership of a specific product area from defining and executing to ensuring continuous improvement, growth and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across tech, business, risk, marketing and local markets to build high performing, customer-centric solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
- Take ownership of the specific product area development roadmap by mapping actions, business requirements, timelines and priorities, while coordinating with all key stakeholders and ensuring transparency, understanding and full accountability for execution.
- Continuously improve the product — including customer journey, product performance, and both front-end and back-end components — by analyzing data (e.g., Google Analytics), identifying market opportunities and applying innovative ideas.
- Define and monitor daily product performance metrics, interpret results and translate insights into actionable next steps in the development roadmap.
- Own and coordinate product development plans and actions across all relevant stakeholders — including business, tech, credit and risk — to ensure aligned execution.
- Create clear product specifications in collaboration with BAs and tech teams, brief teams and validate technical feasibility of solutions.
- As part of the agile development process, create and prioritize user stories, manage product backlogs, plan sprints and collaborate closely with the development team to deliver effectively.
- Ensure effective cross-country knowledge sharing to promote alignment, reduce duplication of effort and increase speed to market.
- Use A/B testing, prototyping and MVPs to validate product features and make data-driven decisions, ensuring a lean and agile delivery process.
- Define and manage the product’s positioning and unique selling proposition (USP) in collaboration with marketing and local market teams to ensure the value proposition is clearly communicated and aligned with brand strategy.
- Contribute to the development of business cases and support the estimation of business value and development effort where needed.
- Monitor market competition and assess how the company’s products compare, using insights to refine and strengthen product strategy.
- Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to identify and develop product sales strategies that support market share growth and improved conversion.
- Drive customer growth by seeking opportunities to increase acquisition and retention, consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
- Maximise revenue potential and profitability by identifying new opportunities and ensuring product development is executed cost-effectively.
