About Team

• Our BEE team works on one of IPF Digital’s decision engines, responsible for maintaining and developing credit scorecards.

• You’ll join a collaborative Agile team focused on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement in backend testing.

This role is based in Poland, with responsibility for initiatives across all IPF Digital operations and markets.

Here's how you'll put your skills into action:

• Testing: Design and execute functional, E2E and UAT test cases based on business requirements, specifications and use cases, ensuring our solutions work as intended.

• Requirements Definition and Management: Work closely with business analysts and product owners to understand requirements, clarify assumptions and translate them into clear test scenarios.

• Quality Assurance: Support the team in maintaining high-quality delivery by reviewing test scripts, running dry-runs and ensuring testing activities are aligned with SDLC and STLC practices.

• Defect Management: Identify, document and manage defects clearly and effectively, helping the team resolve issues and improve product stability.

• Application Testing: Perform backend-focused testing across REST API, SOAP, SQL and databases, with additional support for frontend testing when needed.

• Automation Support: Assist with automated test execution and updates, contributing to more efficient and reliable testing practices over time.

• Communication and language skills: Communicate confidently and clearly in both Polish and English, adapting your language and style to suit diverse audiences. You’ll facilitate collaboration across international teams, ensuring shared understanding and smooth delivery across markets.

We also know that experience counts - and we believe the following can support your success:

• Over 3 years of experience as a Software Tester, with strong backend testing skills including REST API, SOAP and SQL.

• Strong experience with Excel and practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.

• Understanding of testing phases and types such as integration, UAT, E2E and functional testing.

• Finance or banking experience would be a strong advantage.

• Background in automation testing, general knowledge of Java, JavaScript or Python, and ISTQB certification would be welcome.
