About Team
As part of our Credit Risk HUB Team, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining the technical foundations that power our decisioning systems across multiple markets. Working closely with both Credit Risk and our IT Development (Credit Feature Team), you’ll help shape the way risk strategies are delivered, automated, and improved — ensuring we make smart, fair, and efficient credit decisions.

This role is based in Warsaw, with involvement in initiatives across all IPF Digital operations and markets.
Here’s how you’ll put your skills into action:
Risk System Execution: Translate credit risk strategies into system-ready rules and logic within decision engines, ensuring accurate and efficient implementation that supports high-quality customer decisioning.
Data Analysis & Programming: Use SQL and relational databases to analyse data, build queries, and support integrations that strengthen the reliability and scalability of our risk systems.
Solution Design & Testing: Design and maintain technical specifications, data flows, and rule logic while partnering with IT developers to ensure testing accurately reflects business requirements and delivers dependable outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve decision modelling tools, processes, and system performance, helping enhance credit decision quality, operational efficiency, and automation.
Problem Solving & Prioritisation: Assess business impact, troubleshoot issues, and manage competing priorities effectively to support both strategic initiatives and fast-moving operational needs.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Build strong partnerships across Risk and IT teams, contributing ideas, sharing expertise, and supporting continuity across multiple markets and environments.
Communication and language skills: Communicate confidently and clearly in both Polish and English, adapting your language and style to suit diverse audiences. You’ll facilitate collaboration across international teams, ensuring shared understanding and smooth delivery across markets.
We also know that experience counts – and we believe that the following can support your success:
Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and analytical problem-solving.
Experience implementing or supporting credit risk systems, decision engines, or rule-driven configurations.
Exposure to fintech, digital financial services, or other data-driven environments.
Curiosity about programming and automation, with a willingness to continuously develop your technical skills.
Structured and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
