The role
Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the IPF Digital business in Mexico. This includes based accounting, control, reporting, purchasing, invoices, taxes, payments, and related analysis within the Country.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented finance professional looking to progress and develop their career within a growing business. You will be supported each step of the way as you will be working alongside other Finance professionals.
The responsibilities
- Take accountability for the purchase invoice process, from approval to payment and finally to record keeping and proper filing, ensuring reconciliations are properly made by business owners and aligned with purchase order process.
- Control and record of monthly expenses based on the expense verification template, paid with petty cash and corporate credit card.
- Support on corporate credit card issues and monitoring the reception of monthly statements.
- Ensure that the business complies with relevant local and IPF Digital accounting, reporting, tax, and financial control requirements.
- Recompilation, verification, and review of CFDIs and “complemento de pago” are issued and received correctly and on a timely manner.
- Cost accounting, invoice handling and payment issuing.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and business systems
- Take responsibility for the regular reporting of financial performance in accordance with accounting policies and timetables in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure that the monthly timetable of reporting deadlines to IPF Group Finance are met and managed in a pro-active way.
- Comply with tax compliance of the Mexican business, working under guidance from Financial Controller and Tax advisors.
- Prepare the monthly income invoice.
- Control of fixed assets, additions, and deletions in the system
- Elaboration and cancellation of invoices in the system and before the SAT.
- Reconciliation of bank vs. system payments.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Fluency in written and business English language (essential)
- Solid communicator.
- Good problem solver.
- Working under pressure.
- You are results orientated.
- You are highly organised, methodical, and meticulous.
- Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge & Experience
- Financial control and reporting (IFRS).
- How to present financial information in various forms to a mixture of users.
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and ERP (Navision / SAP / Oracle desired.
- Working knowledge of tax requirements México.
- At least 3 years on full time working experience.
- Financial Services experience is ideal but not essential.
- Experience in SOFOM, would be an advantage.
- Educated to degree level.
- Chartered Accountant.
