TAX Manager
At IPF Digital, we’re on the journey of becoming a skills-based organization – where your capabilities and potential matter more than job titles. We want to know what you’re great at, what excites you, and what you’d like to grow into. Not sure if you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
About Team
TAX Team is a small two-person team within the Finance Function. It ensures that IPF Digital remains fully compliant, efficient, and forward-thinking across all markets. We manage tax affairs in Poland and provide expert support for other IPF Digital markets – including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Australia, and Mexico. We collaborate closely with Accounting, Audit, and Banking Teams to safeguard business integrity and identify tax optimization opportunities.
Here’s how you’ll put your skills into action:
Tax management: You’ll take responsibility for Polish tax settlements – including calculation of CIT advances, verification of VAT registers, reviewing contracts, verification of foreign transactions in terms of WHT, TPR, CBC-P, MDR reporting, ongoing cooperation with the accounting team, preparation of tax notes for financial statements, support in the internal and external audit process, etc.
Transfer Pricing: You’ll participate in preparing intra-group fee calculations, ensuring cost allocation aligns with IPF Group’s transfer pricing policy and minimizing VAT, WHT, and CIT inefficiency. You'll keep our transfer pricing documentation updated every year.
Compliance and procedures: You’ll prepare and update tax procedures and intra-group agreements for all IPFD markets. You’ll coordinate and archive documentation confirming the provision of services within the IPFD Group companies. You’ll monitor tax changes across markets to proactively manage risks and identify new opportunities for tax optimization and compliance improvement. You’ll cooperate with local accountants supervising tax settlements in the Baltic States.
Tax calculations: You’ll calculate the annual CIT costs for annual tax reporting and deferred tax calculations across multiple international entities.
Tax advisory: You’ll collaborate with business teams to advise on tax implications of strategic initiatives, balancing compliance with commercial goals.
Important skills that will help you thrive in this role:
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills for complex tax calculations.
- Fluency in Polish and English (English used in up to 75% of daily work).
- Stakeholder management skills (encouraging other teams to do the work needed by the tax team)
- Critical thinking: Ability to critically assess and interpret tax advice, including cross-border implications.
- Understanding VAT rules applicable to financial institutions.
We also know that experience counts – and we believe that the following can support your success:
- Experience in tax compliance and reporting for corporate entities.
- Proven track record in implementing transfer pricing policies, calculating charges, and creating documentation.
- Experience in preparing tax procedures
- Experience with foreign tax systems.
- Background in the financial services sector, shared service center, or fintech environment is an asset.
- Higher education.
