Automation Engineer

We are people-light and technology-heavy and your role is to work as part of the IPF Digital Hub IT team. Join newly established Technical Team that will introduce improvements in our technology stack and tackle technical debt and contribute to that via combination of automated and manual testing.

Key role responsibilities of the Automation Tester role are:

• Working with team members to define automated testing approach
• Plan and estimate automation tasks
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts at Robot Framework with Python
• Improve test framework architecture
• Reviewing code prepared by other QA team members
• Identify test cases from Software Requirements and/or Use Cases
• Create and execute manual test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation provided
• Backend and Frontend testing
• Reviewing and reporting automation test results
• Documenting identified defects
• Maintain and improve Testing supporting application (data generators, automation tools)

Role requirements:

• Very good knowledge of Python & Robot Framework
• Experience with Selenium
• Experience in web services test automation (REST, SOAP)
• Good knowledge of Git
• Several years professional work in Quality Assurance
• At minimum 4 years of experience working as Automation Engineer
• Good knowledge of SQL - Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)
• Ability to communicate both in Polish and English on a day-to-day basis
• Problem solving skills and having ability to work under pressure
• Being a team player
• Ability to set one's own goals in coordination with the team and their needs
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Certification
• Knowledge of Java
• Finance market experience
• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Performance Testing skills
• Experience in usage of BDD with Cucumber
• Ability to work with logs (Kibana/Graylog/etc)
• Experience with Continuous Integration (TeamCity)
• Knowledge about Salesforce
